Message from the Principal

I am privileged to lead this community and warmly welcome you to Redeemer Lutheran College, Biloela.

At Redeemer we appreciate the partnership we have with parents and believe that every child is an individual with unique talents and that they all have the ability to learn.  As educators, it is our responsibility to nurture and develop every child to prepare them to become lifelong learners in line with our Vision, Student Focused Learning for Life.  We do this through the delivery of an exciting, joyful, and innovative learning experience by employing capable teachers who, with the help of mentors and coaches, develop programs that encourages each student individuality.  Our staff are not just capable, but they work in peer collaboration and the collegial approach makes them a team that embodies strong disciplined characters.  We meet our students where they are at and care for them to become global citizens who show care and respect for themselves, the College, and the environment.

Our College’s values align with my own personal values, including the importance of faith, hope, courage, and a sense of community.  Our curriculum underlines the gaining of wisdom, understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, preparing learners to take their productive place as leaders in the community.

I encourage you to visit and experience Redeemer Lutheran College, Biloela for yourself. Take a tour of our campus and talk with our students so you can begin to appreciate their unique insights, talents and perceptions.  I’m confident that you’ll be as impressed as I am by their respect and kindness, as well as their intellectual curiosity and concern for this world that they’ll one day help to shape and lead.

Every student is reminded that: –

They are called to shine

They are equipped to shine

They world needs them to shine

Be The Light!

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.’  John1:5
