Redeemer Lutheran College, Biloela, is located in the Callide Valley, a rural and mining community. The College was established by the Redeemer Lutheran Congregation in 1978. In 2009 it became a school of the Queensland District. In 2012 the school received approval to change its attribute and provide secondary education. In 2014 the middle school campus and program began with Year 7 and 8 and will grow each year afterwards adding Year 9 in 2015 and Year 10 in 2016.
Redeemer is a single stream co-educational facility, Preparatory to Year Ten and has an enrolment in excess of 250 students. 28 students is the capped limit for class numbers. However, when enrolment demand means year levels that reach or exceed this cap they are provided with extra support.
